Our School, Our Neighbourhood, Our Community
Millgrove School is centred in the quiet subdivision of Millgrove, in the city of Spruce Grove, Alberta.
The school opened in 1977, we will be celebrating 33 years of successful learning. To date Millgrove has 17 Inclusive classrooms for students from kindergarten to grade four. The school has an open area library, a full gym facility, and a dedicated music room.
As an Early Years School, Millgrove has a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and 21st Century skills. Millgrove is a SMART accredited school, making use of technology throughout the curriculum on a daily basis. Each classroom is equipped with SMART boards, visual presenters, a wireless Front Row Pro sound system, as well as both desktop and laptop computers.
The grounds include two newly constructed playgrounds, a large playing field, an asphalt basketball court, and a brightly painted tarmac area to encourage co-operative games.
PEANUT AND NUT AWARENESS
We Are Peanut and Nut Aware!
Please refrain from bringing products with peanuts and nuts to school. Let's all take part in making our schools safe for everyone.
